Quick Update

Yay for smartphones! I’m typing this on my lunchbreak on my phone.

I thought I’d post a quick update since it’s been so long since my last post. And once again I missed out on Calendar Girls.

I went away at the end of September and started a new job right after I got back.

I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t have time to blog – I did – but I didn’t have the mental space and I have other hobbies that help me relax when I get overworked mentally.

One thing I’ve been working on the last year or so, is not letting hobbies become like second jobs. They’re supposed to be my escape! So unfortunately this blog has taken a back seat for the time being.

So, today is Halloween in Sydney, and that means tomorrow is NaNoWriMo. It’s hard for me to think of November as anything else. I flipped back and forth between signing up and not signing up to focus on the blog again.

Guess what won.

NaNoWriMo.

I’ve just been having too many ideas not to give it a go this year.

So, my poor little blog will have to wait another month. But I will come back! I’m just not looking at this like a job, so it might continue being sporadic until I get into a groove.
