Hi there,

I’m Astrid. I’m a bit of a literature nerd, with a bit of an obsessive streak. One book I’ve never managed to through, is Moby Dick, or, The Whale by Herman Melville. You could say it’s my ‘white whale’.

This blog is dedicated to my read through of this infamous book. I’ll write up a post for each ten chapters with a summary, as well as lay out my thoughts on it.

My hope is that by sharing my journey through the book, I will finally make it through! And maybe I’ll continue the journey by watching and reading related films and texts. Let’s see how far it goes!
