As mentioned yesterday, I’m taking today off from my travels with Ishmael (that would have been a good blog title, too), and doing a personal tag. Thanks again to Bree from In Love & Words for tagging me and giving this newbie a shout-out 🙂
1 What’s your name?
2 Any nicknames or aliases?
Not really, aside from variations on my name: Stridle, Astridle etc. I’ve been called Star, Ace and Ash in the past, but not recently.
3 Your gender?
I’m a laaady.
4 Your star sign?
5 How old are you?
6 Your relationship status?
Long-term relationship – seven (7) years in October!
7 Any children?
8 Any pets?
No. My boyfriend and I are both allergic to dogs and cats 😦 Maybe we’ll get a lizard when we move to a bigger place though 🙂 Or a bird!
9 Any tattoos or piercings?
I’ve had my ears and bellybutton pierced, but they’ve since healed over. I have a little tattoo of a wedge-tailed eagle on my right ankle though (or at least, that’s what it’s supposed to be. I don’t care if it’s not great, I still love it after ten years).
10 What do you like about yourself?
I’m always willing to try new things – hobbies, foods, places. And I’m patient with kids (or so I’ve been told), which bodes well for the future.
11 What do you dislike about yourself?
I struggle with depression and anxiety, and the biggest thing I’ve been working on is not being so self-critical. So… my self-criticism?
12 Righty or lefty?

Yes. In the boring, ‘mathematical probability’ way.

Yes, if it’s backed up by a positive attitude and actions.
52 Do you believe in love at first sight?
No. Attraction, sure, but not love.

Which Would You Choose?
76 Love or money?
77 Twitter or Facebook?
78 Hook up or relationship?
79 Dogs or cats?
Can I say both? If pressed, I’ll choose dogs, though.
80 Coffee or tea?
81 Beer or wine?
82 Sweet or savoury?
83 Introvert or extrovert?
84 Vampires or werewolves?
85 Seaside or countryside?
86 Summer or winter?
Summer because I can swim, but winter is always welcome at the end of summer (as is summer at the end of winter).

88 Horror or comedy
If I have to choose, horror. But comedy is so essential! And then there are the horror-comedies, which can be the perfect blend.

I got stuck on this question for waaay too long. So, I really don’t know who I would want to talk to.
98 Would you say you are happy?
99 What one piece of advice would you give to yourself at age eighteen?
Find a good therapist. In the scheme of things, you’re doing really well, but you’re spending too much time on your friends’ emotional problems and not you’re own.
100 Where would you like to be in five years’ time?
I’d just like to be healthy, happy and have a stable income. Is that too much to ask?
No pressure to do this one if you’re tagged. If you aren’t tagged, feel free to do it, too!
